The real reason Aldi doesn't have a loyalty card:

Tesco Clubcard, Nectar, Morrisons More Card, Lidl Plus, Asda Christmas Savings and Boots Advantage Card we're sure you've heard of - but what about Aldi?

Are they missing a huge trick here? Their reasoning is actually very strategic.

A spokesperson told MyLondon that the supermarket's business model is set out to offer all shoppers great value products - they don't want to reward only some customers who sign up for a scheme.

They also said that they don't want to make people buy multiple products that they don't really need just to get the extra value offered by two-for-one deals, and other similar multi-buy promotions.

The brand's core value is to offer low prices to every customer, every time they shop. This mission is reflected in their stance on loyalty schemes and offers.

They aren't planning on launching a loyalty card any time soon - what do you think?
