Which Movie Franchise are you Most Loyal to?

This week we’re asking a fun question about your favourite long standing movie franchise. It’s a bit of fun but it’s really about how our preferences and behaviours change with age. Just like movies, we all get a bit outdated and it’s really unusual to stay loyal to a brand for many, many years.

Throughout the years, we have had many iconic film franchises that have changed the cinema industry thanks to its dedicated and loyal fan base. All of these franchises have multiple factors to why their fans remain loyal over so many years.

However, the main issue with popularity in the movie business is that the franchises never seem to end, regardless of how many films have been released. Now with the success of streaming platforms, many movie universes have transitioned into episodic shows to continue the story for die hard fans.

The first Star Wars film was released in May 25th, 1977, spanning nearly 50 years and James Bond is even older. In 2023 there are over 22 films and TV shows that are focusses on the main characters and story of the Star Wars franchise.

With so many films and TV shows to watch, it will always be difficult to maintain the same quality that made the franchise popular originally.
